Do I need to provide anything? โ
Just your pet and a place for the groomer to work โ a bathroom, laundry room, or outdoor area works. Our groomers bring all shampoos, tools, towels, and dryers. Running water access is helpful but groomers have equipment for most setups.
My pet is anxious at the groomer. Will in-home grooming be better? +
Yes, most anxious pets do significantly better with in-home grooming. Familiar surroundings reduce stress dramatically. Our groomers are trained in low-stress handling and work at the pet's pace. Select "anxious pet" in your booking and we'll match you with our most experienced handler.
What breeds do you service? +
All breeds, including double-coat breeds (Husky, Golden, German Shepherd), curly coats (Poodle, Doodle mixes), and short-coat breeds. For matted coats, groomers will assess at booking โ severe matting may require a de-matt session before a full cut.
Are your groomers certified? +
Yes. All NeighborhoodPro pet groomers are certified, carry liability insurance, and have passed background checks. You can view groomer profiles and ratings before confirming.
Can I book multiple pets? +
Yes. Select the number of pets during booking โ each additional pet is added to the quote. Same groomer, same appointment, discounted rate for the second pet onward.
How long does grooming take? +
Bath only: 45โ60 minutes. Full groom (small dog): 60โ90 minutes. Full groom (large dog): 90โ150 minutes. Cat grooming: 60โ90 minutes. Exact timing depends on coat condition and temperament.
